White wines of Spain are rapidly gaining traction in the wine community. The soil in Spain’s white wine vineyards is very deep and well-drained, primarily of sandy-clay or a clay blend. With long, warm days and a cool drop at night, Spain produces white wines with approachable acidity and tree-fruit aromas. Well-made Spanish white wines will develop more toasted almond and orange peel notes as they age.
Sol Bajo, Spanish for “low sun”, is a celebration for a job well done at the end of a long, warm day. A lovely white wine from Spain with a creamy texture and hints of lemon. The vibrant citrus flavors are highlighted by aromatic white floral notes. This wine is dimensional and elegant and pairs well with shellfish, cheese, or dessert.
