White wines of Spain are rapidly gaining traction in the wine community. The soil in Spain’s white wine vineyards is very deep and well-drained, primarily of sandy-clay or a clay blend. With long, warm days and a cool drop at night, Spain produces white wines with approachable acidity and tree-fruit aromas. Well-made Spanish white wines will develop more toasted almond and orange peel notes as they age.
