Donama Cabernet 2019

The Donama Cabernet was produced by a family-owned and operated winery in Argentina and they have a soft spot in our hearts. Similarly to Splash, this winery has been in the wine business for generations and its a labor of love and passion. In fact, Donama takes its name from the grandfather and patriarch of the winery, Don Amadeo Maranon (who was nicknamed Donama!) who originally built the winery almost 70 years ago. This insane Cabernet definitely does Donama justice!

This wine is a beautiful purple-red color. The nose on this wine is instantly intriguing with spice, red pepper and blackberry notes all playing with a toasty vanilla from the oak. The tannins are soft and sweet with a medium body. This well rounded Cabernet is hard to beat.
