Two of the most widely produced red grapes in all of Spain are Tempranillo and Bobal. While Tempranillo is certainly the more widely known grape, Bobal is right up there in terms of popularity in Spain. This blend is a beautiful partnership between these two grapes, an even blend of 50-50 of each grape. The wine is fresh and elegant with aromas of ripe raspberry and blackberry fruit with subtle toasty notes. The wine mkes for a beautiful match for duck, roast lamb, stews and also powerful cheeses.
