Atico is an award-winning winery and this Macabeo is another star in their collection. While Macabeo isn’t particularly well-known  in the US, it is the second most widely planted grape in Spain. Macabeo drinks similarly to a Sauvignon Blanc- on the drier side with excellent acidity and balanced by fruity notes. Atico presents with notes of flowers and fresh cut grass, balanced with classic citrus lime and passion fruit. We recommend honoring the origin of this Mediterranean White with a zesty salad with fruit and a vinegar-based dressing or grilled shrimp.
