Gosford Reserve Shiraz

This Reserve wine decides to throw an extra delicious wrinkle into their wine by throwing 15% of Cabernet Sauvignon. In addition, the wine received treatment in American Oak, adding some extra toasty flavors to the palate. All told, this is a great wine that you can drink now but will certainly age if you’d like to save this special reserve.

The aromas of this wine are ripe, with the fruit leading. Primarily there are notes of ripe berries, with an undertone of earth and spice from the feisty Shiraz and a touch of toastiness from the oak aging. The fruit forward notes are of sweet berry fruit, with undertones of dark chocolate and mocha making for a silky finish with just the right amount of tannins.
