Ambicion Chardonnay grapes grow in the alluvial soils of the Uco Valley in Mendoza, Argentina at an elevation of 1200 feet above sea level. A wide range in temperatures between day and night, and irrigation from the mineralized runoff from the Andes Mountains makes for excellent Chardonnay growing conditions. This wine is a beautiful golden color with green flecks and has delicious aromas of white chocolate and tropical fruits. The mouth feel is velvety and balanced with a persistent finish. Aged for 4 months in French oak barrels, this wine pairs beautifully with lean meats, like chicken and grilled salmon, and creamy pasta dishes with Parmesan.
