Over the last few years, Australian Sauvignon Blanc has gained international popularity. It is becoming well know for its crisp and refreshing characteristics. With over 600 wineries, Victoria has the largest number of wine producers in Australia. This Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Pyrenees region of Victoria. Named by Major Thomas Mitchell in 1836, the rugged hills reminded him of the European Pyrenees Mountain Range that divides France and Spain.

The rugged hills of the Australian Pyrenees, provide much of the magic for its wines. From North to South the foothills have a diverse mix of microclimates, allowing for a wealth of grape varieties to be grown. The soils in this region range from grey-brown and brown loam to red sandstone and red clay quartz. They produce 33 different varieties, form rich reds and crisp whites, to refreshing sparkling wines.

Tasting Notes: This refreshing and crisp Australian Sauvignon Blanc from Pyrenees, Adelaide is a vibrant wine showing a pale green color. Lively aromas of lemon zest combined with mineral notes. A perfect everyday wine to be enjoyed now.
