Cantina di Solopaca Falanghina Spumante DOP "Selezione Oro" 2018

Sold Out

The Cantina di Solopaca is one of the oldest farmers’ cooperatives in the Campania region of Italy. The Solopaca hills have been producing wine for centuries, with tales of French General, Joachim Murat, tasting Solopaca wine and extoling its merits to his brother-in-law, Napoleon.

Well, the tradition of stellar wines from Solopaca continues with this Spumante. With bubbles that rise and seem to last forever, you will adore this sparkling! Only Falanghina grapes are used in production of Cantina di Solopaca’s Spumante. Cold fermentation occurs in stainless steel for about 20 days before the wine is refined in a vacuum steel tank in accordance with the Martinotti method, for a further 9 months. The resulting wine’s color is a delicate straw yellow. The nose is filled with sumptuous notes of bread crust and almonds. The mouthfeel is dry, balanced and harmonious with a good persistence. We recommend pairing with citrus fruit salad, chocolates or cheese.
