La Bollina Monferrato Chiaretto DOC 2019

La Bollina Winery is located in Serravalle Scrivia AL, Italy. This bottling was overseen by visiting winemaker Andrea Bernardini, who is a passionate consultant winemaker who refined his skills at Poggio Bonelli and Ruffino in Tuscany and trained in South Africa, Romania and Greece. After several years of experience, he is now a traveling winemaker, blending tradition and modern techniques to obtain high-quality wines with utmost respect to the different grapes and terroir in which he works.

This Rosé is 100% Nebbiolo and crafted with grapes that are softly pressed as a white and fermented to a temperature of 10 to 12°C for about 2 weeeks. Aged in steel, on the yeast with battonage at low temperature, to maintain freshness and give structure and balance. The resulting wine is a soft coral color. On the nose, there are intense and persistent floral notes, cherry and strawberry. The palate is balanced with a finish that is fruity and refreshing. This Rosé pairs well with appetizers and fresh fish dishes.
