This is wine for the fearless. “Del Desierto” or “of the desert” is wine that is grown in one of the most inhospitable places on earth- the Mendoza desert region of Argentina. It takes a fearless winemaker to be willing to try to tame this region to grow warm climate Cabernet. But with great risk, comes great reward. The arid sandy soil and the warm growing season leads to intense flavors of black fruit and spice and voluptuous body with great structure. We recommend pairing with spicy fish or meat dishes, aged cheeses and chocolate.
