Empyrean Eridanus Claret Red Blend 2020

Eridanus is a Bordeaux-style blend, comprised of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot from organic vineyards in the new Royal Slope AVA of Columbia Valley. While it has the elegance and grace of Bordeaux, it also packs the powerful punch of New World winemaking, making it a beautiful hybrid. The result is truly stunning! 

A gorgeous and brilliant deep ruby color that offers notes of intense black cherry, sweet ripe black plum, with leather and slight cedar incense, and hints of orange marmalade. The palate is a beautiful balance of softness and structure. Dense fruit and a slightly meaty intensity follow. Smooth throughout, and easy to drink, but a long finish with plenty of grips. It is fermented completely dry, with no residual sugar, and should age gracefully for 5-7 years.

Pair this exquisite Claret with classic dishes such as herb-crusted rack of lamb, beef Wellington, or roasted vegetable ratatouille.
