This pleasantly tart liquor is perfect for a casual party, with platters of cold cuts, pork, duck or roasted poultry. Montepulciano can also accompany traditional Italian dishes with its taste, such as: lasagna, pizza or pasta with Bolognese sauce. The advantage of Montepulciano is certainly a good balance between tannins and marked acidity. The aromas recognizable in the nose are mainly red and dark fruit aromas with dominance of cherry and dark plum accents. Pleasant to drink, juicy and gently warming wine; does not tire the palate, leaving it slightly numb.
