Gramercy Cellars Syrah
Gramercy Cellars Syrah

Founded in 2005, Gramercy Cellars initially focused on crafting a single Walla Walla Syrah blend from Les Collines and Forgotten Hills vineyards. However, their exploration of Washington's regions led to the development of outstanding Syrah from various vineyards. In 2016, they returned to the idea of a multi-vineyard Walla Walla Syrah, blending Les Collines, Forgotten Hills, and Holy Roller Vineyard. Fermented in concrete and stainless-steel tanks with 58% whole cluster, and aged in French puncheon and barrels, this Syrah offers exceptional value and quality, representing the best of Washington's winemaking.
Vibrant aromas of boysenberry, huckleberry, and fresh mountain berries mingle with forest scents. Earthy notes of forest floor and spruce are complemented by hints of saline and umami, along with nuances of nori and black pepper. The palate offers plush tannins, lively acidity, and a long, saline-infused finish. This wine perfectly embodies the terroir of Walla Walla Valley Syrah and pairs well with beef, lamb, poultry, and game such as deer or venison.
