La Bollina Gavi DOCG 2019

La Bollina Winery is located in Serravalle Scrivia AL, Italy. This bottling was overseen by visiting winemaker Andrea Bernardini, who is a passionate consultant winemaker who refined his skills at Poggio Bonelli and Ruffino in Tuscany and trained in South Africa, Romania and Greece. After several years of experience, he is now a traveling winemaker, blending tradition and modern techniques to obtain high-quality wines with utmost respect to the different grapes and terroir in which he works.

This wine goes through a short grape maceration. Aged in steel, on the yeast with battonage at low temperature in order to maintain freshness and give structure and balance.

This 100% Cortese wine is a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, there are delicate aromas of fresh fruits and spring flowers. The palate is dry, with crisp acidity, soft and delicate flavors, moderate intensity and persistence. Due to the freshness of this wine, it pairs excellently with fish and appetizers.
