Lampasso Rosso
Lampasso Rosso
This wine is made from Montepulciano grapes grown in selected vineyards. After pruning in the second half of October, the grapes remain on the vines until the second half of November to complete the drying process. This overripening process is based on the production process of important northern Italian wines such as Amarone or Sfurzat, whereby the grapes are dried naturally. The subsequent vinification takes place in steel tanks for about 3 weeks. The result is a dense must in which the aromatic substances reach a very high concentration. It has an intense, almost impenetrable ruby red color and an elegant, complex aroma, characterized by notes of red fruits and undergrowth. Full and harmonious taste in the mouth with good persistence.
