Mont Rocher Viognier 2018 Pays d'Oc BP
Mont Rocher Viognier from the Languedoc Roussillon is made from the very aromatic Viognier grape variety that produces its aromas at a certain stage of maturation. The grapes for this wine are from very old vines. The winemaker’s team follows the process by tasting the grapes in August, in order to choose the right day to harvest. Once harvested, the grapes undergo a short skin-contact maceration. Then, the juice, collected after a delicate pressing and meticulous settling, it then ferments at low temperature in stainless steel tanks. This wine does not undergo any oak aging and is bottled when it is young to capture its very fresh fruit notes. The finished wine has a lovely mouthfilling textured taste of ripe peach and apricot fruit, with balancing acidity creating a delicious flavour.
