Old World Vs. New World Reds
Old World Vs. New World Reds
14 Bottles of Red Wine Split Between Old World and New World
Plus a Bottle of Bubbly When You Crown a Winner (Spoiler - it's you!)
With the Olympics happening in Tokyo, we were infected with the spirit of friendly competition and that got us thinking about the biggest (friendly) rivalry in the wine world: Old World vs. New World. So we decided to curate a selection of red wines that put the Old and New World head to head. We've picked 7 reds from each and even matched them varietal for varietal. That means there is an Old World and New World wine that represents each of the following grapes or blends: Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah/Shiraz, Red Blend, Malbec and Bordeaux grape (a Carmenere vs. a Cab Franc). You get all 14 bottles of red plus a bottle of bubbly to celebrate the winner for just $99.95.
