Vivir sin Dormir Organic Monastrell 2021

Vivir sin Dormir means “Life Without Sleep” in Spanish. While this may sound exhausting, it certainly would be easier to go without sleep when you are so busy hauling in awards. Initially, this beautiful wine was only released in Europe and hauled in silver medals in both France and Germany. At Splash, we were fortunate enough to be able to acquire some of the Vivir sin Dormir and we are exclusively offering it here in the United States.

This wine is 100% Monastrell, which may be better known to some by its French name Mourvèdre. But it isn’t just any Monastrell. This wine is certified organic, meaning that these grapes are truly extraordinary. Throw the artistic label on this wine, done by a rising star in the Spanish art world, and this wine is absolutely unbelievable, from the bottle to your glass.

A beautiful and intense red cherry color, this wine has intense aromas of red and black fruits like plum, blackberry, and raspberry notes. It has full-bodied power on the palate but delightfully balanced by silky tannins. It is a long and lingering finish that will absolutely have you craving the next sip. This wine, made near the Mediterranean is perfect with the Mediterranean diet. Perhaps the ideal pairing would be with roasted meats and good cheeses.
