About the Wine

Since 1789 when it was only a small house with only a few parcels of vines, ten generations have worked hard and helped grow Château Nerbesson into a 42-hectare vineyard. This medium-bodied Bordeaux is crafted from 100% Merlot grown in clay-limestone soils. On the nose, notes of redcurrant, wet leaves, tobacco, and cedar. The palate is full and generous with black fruit and roasted coffee. Dry and food-friendly, it's a natural match for beef, lamb, pasta with red sauce, or a good cheese board, and is best served between 60-64°F.
