This full-bodied Bordeaux is a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, grown in clay-limestone soils and made in the pure tradition of the Bordeaux châteaux, with gentle extraction for the best juice and six months of aging in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks before bottling. A dark garnet red, it's fruity and highly aromatic on the nose, revealing notes of jammy fruit alongside caramel, black currant, tobacco, while the palate is supple and round with lovely tannins and structure.
