Sometimes, nothing hits the spot after a long day at work more than taking your shoes off, putting your feet up and having a nice glass of red wine. Bootstrap is just such a wine, as they say, “take off your boots and join us for a little slice of heaven.” Heaven might seem like a stretch but the 2013 vintage was certainly angelic for California winemakers and this wine showcases that beautifully. Blending two grapes from some of California’s top wineries (most were sourced from Lodi), this wine is easy drinking, delicious and absolutely certain to help you relax after a long day.

85% Zinfandel blended with 15% Petite Sirah, this wine is positively juicy. Fruit forward, there are notes of red cherry and boysenberry bramble. Finishing with a note of vanilla spice, this wine is soothing and luxurious. If you are looking to unwind, look no further. The notes of fruit in this wine make it a nice pair for smoky food but the best pair is, perhaps, slow-roasted baby back ribs with your favorite sauce.
