Located less than 10 miles from the coast, the Costières de Nîmes is a winemaking region that is defined by the warm temperatures of the South of France as well as its proximity to the sea. With pebbly soils that hold in heat for optimal ripening and cooling winds that keep the grapes from becoming over ripe, these factors add up to create wines that burst with character. The Expression Red is a blend of organically-grown Syrah, Grenache, and Marselan that shows notes of dark red and black fruits, baking spice, and chocolate balanced by supple tannins.
