Chiens Catlans Rouge 2018

Hailing from Southern France in the Roussillon region, this fruity red blend was created from a mix of Carignan and Grenache Noir grapes.

A deep cherry red with burgundy highlights. Slightly smoky on the nose, the grenache adds its trademark blackberry flavors and a hint of garrigue, whilst the Carignan gives this vibrant color, lovely tannins and fresh acidity. Cranberry, strawberry and raspberry are evident as well as subtle notes of floral notes such as rose petal and violets. Excellent length and tannins. Pair with rack of lamb, pork or chicken.
