Cabernet is called the King of Grapes by some (well, us, at least) and this winery agrees - Ohene comes from the Afrikaans language for "king" and just makes logical sense for a killer South African Cab. If you want to make the case for the regal Cab, this is the way to go.
Ripe and juicy flavors of black cherry and plum lead the way, with darker and spicier notes of coffee and dark chocolate. This makes for a fabulous pairing with the robust and zesty grilled meats of summer, particularly smoky grilled ribs.
