Son of a Butcher Red Blend 2019 is an exquisite blend of 48% Tannat, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, and 3% Malbec, aged for 18 months in a combination of new and neutral French oak barrels. Despite its Californian origin, it exudes a subtle Bordeaux/South West French charm, boasting enticing aromas of black plum, black pepper, cassis, cedar, and leather. On the palate, it delights with luscious plum and raspberry flavors supported by a supple, full-bodied texture. Master Sommelier Peter Granoff aptly describes the Tannat's integration within the wine's core, framed by Bordeaux varietals.
