Atico Tempranillo/Monastrell 2020

Atico Tempranillo/Monastrell hails from the stunning Mediterranean coast of Spain near Valencia. While Valencia may not be on the top of your list when you think of Spanish wine production, the region does produce about 5% of Spain’s grapes and is the 4^th most widely planted of the country’s 17 wine regions.

The climate produced by the Mediterranean Sea meeting the arid desert region is what makes the grapes from this region so unique. This Tempranillo and Monastrell blend takes the best attributes from each wine- the classic floral nose and elegant fruit of a Spanish Tempranillo complemented by the soft richness of the Monastrell.
